Momentous life news, a blog award and three amazing companies

It has been a month of change for this little blog. After a year of thinking about it I finally got my own slice of internet pie in December, meaning I can do whatever I want and not have to abide by any blog-host rules. *puts feet on table* *picks nose*

One of the things I have wanted to do is advertise things and companies I love on the side bar and through sponsored posts. Not only do I get to send people their way, but it will also help pay our way once we are a family of four with no jobs – we have BOTH gone and handed in our notice on our current work teams in order to become nomadic adventurers at the end of the summer – EEEEP! (I have bolded that because, Sheesh Macneesh, how momentous!!)

Well, some pioneering companies HAVE begun to share this space with me, and I want to introduce you to them, as they are ridiculously ACE. (You can join this superhero crowd of sponsors, and get your badge over there on the right in about 3 seconds if you fancy it. Here is how.)

Global Seesaw
I have worked with Global Seesaw through the ethical Christmas Fayre I run for coming on SIX years! They are an incredible fair trade company who do the most gorgeous range of products that are both stylish and improving the lives of women in developing countries. They have throws made from vintage saris, laptop bags that wouldn’t look out of place at some seriouspants design festival and a huge collection of accessories.
Check out their website but do also look them up on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest.

This vintage Sari throw is completely divine

KittyDolittle
I met Kitty DoLittle at the last Christmas Fayre, and could not stop hanging around her stall, picking everything up, and falling in love with it. They take ethical glamour to a massively new level, with their huge array of luxury accessories. I just love that there are people showing how stunning you can look, whilst not using up the earths resources. *swoon*
Find Kitty DoLittle’s shop here, but also visit her on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest!

This beauty belt is made from London FIREHOSE! They also have eel skin ones!

Upcycled Creatively
My husband bought me an Upcycled Creatively brooch for Christmas and I get complimented on it constantly! (You can spy it in the charity shop vlogs!) They are a family business who craft gorgeous things up out of vintage fabrics and felt, and there is not one item they have made that I wouldn’t wear with pride! Their gloves are out of this world GORGEOUS! Find them on Facebook, Etsy and their blog even has tutorials on.
